Aims and objectives
We warmly welcome you all to the 1st International Forum on Quantum Functional Materials, which has been scheduled at April 21-23, 2023.
Recently, qubits have been widely established in a variety of physical systems for developing quantum information. Quantum functional materials are the basis for the qubits with an important position in the development of quantum information. This conference provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for scientists, engineers and students to share and discuss the most recent innovations, concerns, and trends as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of Quantum Functional Materials to an international audience.
This two-day conference will enhance the ideology of the attendees toward the perspectives of quantum materials through the eloquence of keynote sessions, plenary sessions, and poster sessions from countries around the world. We are looking forward to welcoming you and glad to see you all have an enjoyable stay in Hefei, China.

Session 1Material challenges from Quantum information
Quantum Materials is an exciting field at the boundary of condensed matter and quantum physics, material sciences, exhibiting unique properties such as quantum entanglement, quantum coherence for the application of quantum information.
Session 2Quantum Material Systems for Quantum Circuits
Quantum materials withanomalously strong quantum effects, such as superconductor, quantum dot, trapped ion, ultra-cold atoms, nitrogen-vacancy center and so on, have been widely employed and demonstrated for the quantum computing.
Session 3Advanced Techniques for Quantum Measurement
A variety of advanced techniques have been introduced to investigate both static and dynamic properties and effectspresent in quantum materials. Scientific instruments have also been developed towards the quantum precision measurement.
Session 4Emergent Quantum Materials for Qubit
A common thread in the study of quantum materials is the concept of emergence. Emergent quantum materials create a new platform to develop new or improved states, leading to innovative devices and systems with the goal of furthering the understanding of nature and creating new or improved technologies.
